Today I would like to highlight two products that really help ensure less irritation post shave/pre regrowth. The first product is the “Tend Skin Solution”. It is an alcohol based product that helps reduce swelling and inflammation caused by razor burn/ingrown hairs. It is a slightly expensive product at an MSRP of $18.99 for 4 fluid ounces. That makes it roughly $4.75 per ounce. This can be acquired slightly cheaper per ounce if bought in larger bottles. I cannot determine that it is overpriced as it is a fantastic product that really helps reduce razor irritation and ingrown hairs. I highly recommend this product for anyone struggling with irritation. It is the best product I have found to relieve irritation quickly and while using little product. One thing I would recommend is to get a sample of this product before you purchase a larger bottle because no one knows how a new product will react to their skin. You can get a sample from the Tend Skin website for just the shipping cost!
The second product is Jack Black Skincare’s “Bump Fix”. It is an acid blend made for fighting irritation and acne. It is a great multi-purpose product that is effective for its intent. The price of the product is $28.00 for 6 fluid ounces. This makes it slightly cheaper for these sizes at roughly $4.67 per fluid ounce. As far as I can tell they do not offer samples on their website. This means if you want to try this product you will have to spend the full amount with the possibility of bad reactions. This product does everything you could ask of it and then some. This product is a great skin solution for acne and razor irritation.
Both of these products are effective solutions to shaving irritation of any kind, anywhere. They are able to be used in many different applications including body and neck shaving as well. This makes both of these products well worth the money if irritation is a problem. After using either of these products I would recommend to use a daily moisturizer. Either of these products would be a great addition to anyone who uses bladed razors (non electric) to shave.
