Products I’m Using Right Now 5/7/23

 For my razor right now I am using the Muhle R41 Grande Chrome. It is a fairly aggressive open comb design, but with a good lather and a sharp Feather Hi-stainless razor blade. I am getting an fantastically close shave without any irritations. I am using a Proraso Pre Shave Cream and doing a face lather with Cremo Palo Santo Cream and a pre-soaked boar brush. To help with closeness I am doing two passes on the shave. I do my first pass following the grain of the hair. I do my second pass going across the grain. In doing this I get a lot less irritation than going against the grain, but with a very comparable shave. For after shave I use the Proraso Red Aftershave lotion and the Nivea Men Sensitive Skin Balm. The real stars of the show to prevent irritation on the regrowth is the Jack Black Bump Fix Product or the Tend Skin Product. Both of these help ease possible regrowth irritation. This can be especially difficult for people with very coarse hair like myself. That makes these products shine as it prevents possible issues whenever your regrowth occurs. The only thing to be aware of is the fact that both of these products are very alcohol heavy. With this in mind ensure a good facial moisturizer is used.
